Job Description:
Pre-requisites
- Overall 5-6 Years of experience in Data Warehouse Technologies
- Must have worked on Snowflake for atleast 2 yrs
Qualification
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or similar subject area
Mandatory Skills Technical Experience
- At least 2 years of relevant Snowflake experience
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience in implementing physical data model (Databases, Schema Tables, Views & Virtual Data Warehouse)
- Experience in implementing Snowflake Stored procedures for ELT needs
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe
- Well versed in Snowflake architecture concepts – Cloud Services, Virtual Warehouse, Storage etc.
- Good understanding of Data Warehouse / Dimension Modeling concepts
- Work closely with clients to understand and capture functional requirements
- Actively participate in daily project team meetings and brainstorming activities related to the project issues
Communication Skills
- Must have very good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Skills Technical Skills
- Migration Experience (Any Relational Database / DW Database to Snowflake)
- Experience on any ETL tools
- Hands-on experience on any scripting knowledge like Python/Java
- Setting up user security, managing users and group, controlling access to functionality
